Can someone tell me how to remove and replace the stainless trim, without damaging it, that surrounds my windshield? thanks

Good question! Would it be the same way for the trim around the side cargo windows on the wagons?

There is a special flat hook tool that slides under the stainless and you release the spring clips one at a time.

You need to be very careful not to hook the glass, I said that to an employee on his last day on the job. True story.

You can get them at an auto parts store.

There is also a plier for grabbing the clips under the trim

You slide this under the trim? It looks too big?

You just pull the clip away from the trim then the trim can be lifted.

I couldn't find the tool , locally, but ordered it from Amazon. Today, the weather wasn't too bad, and I went to the pullapart yard, and got my trim! Thank you. I got the pliers style, by the way.
