Good score. Looks nice.
Thanks.
It didn't start out that way.
Heres a pic of the engine bat when I first got it home.

Someday when I get my chores caught up and my bank account in shape, I'm going to have you invite me over and and take serious detailed notes on how you worked that engine magic.

That is some mighty fine cleanup you did there.

That man does incredible work.
I've seen him perform miracle work on quite a few rides.

A lot of detailed cleaning.

This is after I removed the burned up 904 and replaced it with a 727

I even clean and paint areas that nobody but me will ever see in person.

The reason the compressor and AC lines were not painted,
is because I have new ones going on when the 360 4BBL is installed.
It already has the Police PS and trans coolers.
I recently acquired a factory Police oil cooler and lines for a M.
Installed a Modine 3 core radiator and a 7 blade fan with a thermal clutch.

I want it as heavy duty as a Police Car but in a 2 door.
Front and rear Police sway bars and 125 MPH speedometer also.

Found a couple more pics of the Mocha Lebaron.

You're selling the mocha one?

Not really tying or even wanting to.
If the guy who started this thread was willing to pay what he stated,
Then the Mocha one would be the one I would let go.

They are definitely not getting any easier to find.
especially with only 31,000 miles on it.

Thanks Capt.
Its so nice and original, I hate to do anything to it.
It still has the original dated spark plug wires.
The only things I have done is add the 125 Cop speedo, wheels,
shocks and fluids.

So when the gray 80 Lebaron came along,
I decided it would be the one I would build and leave the Mocha one alone and original.

I bought a running 81 Lebaron 4 door parts car just for the bumper fillers.
Finding bumper fillers for a 2 year only car is VERY tough.
It has a lot of parts that will be going on the coupes.
That bumper is painted with rustoleum on the inside, and the fillers are painted with a special plastic paint from top to bottom.

Nice work man. I love how you do all the things nobody would think of for long time preservation like rust proofing the parts you don't see.
TY!
I have determined that our cars are rusting from the inside out.
There are so many places that Chrysler didn't bother to paint.
When I removed the nose from Picasso,
I found so many hidden places with surface rust.
Cleaned all that off and painted everything, and resealed old crusty seam sealer.
Before I paint it with rust proof paint, I treat it with stuff that stops rust.

Inside bumper before cleaning and painting black.
Watch the edges, they will cut you like a knife.

Wish I had thought of this before I put the front end back on the 5th Avenue.
So did you use hammerite or just regular rustoleum?

Regular.
Hammerite would be good for the trunk area.
I HATE rust with passion!
and will take the time needed to stop it,
or at lease slow it down.
I have had stuff painted for years and still show no signs of rust.
