I got a few questions, One How can I tell if my Mirada is an actual CMX being that there was slant 6 CMX as well as 360's and 318's lolNo badging anywhere as it was repainted but it has CMX Wheels 8.25 rear . Also Broadcast Data plate I tried and got a bunch of weird/odd crap not related to Mirada let alone any J body.

SO is there a way to accurately break down the broadcast plate for the J bodies?

Mines:

p31 r32 end
h51 L81 n or m37 ncc? m96?
a75 c56 c97 c55 c67 c77
tm9 u d12 next number cant read
tm9 fgm6? rest of line unreadable to dirt
E44 D32 Then Vin Which is

xh22gar142853

All I have been able to get is 318 2 barrel Hd727 Trans and bigger brake package and from what a friend said tow package.

Any help guys?

Thanks in advance.

Your car is a 1980 CMX..judging by the 13 digit vin....and the A75 code...that's the CMX code for 1980. And TM9 is the original color, which is Baron Red. The numbers/letters after will be the Interior Color/Seat Type, and 6 is for red

I figured it was a cmx but the only cmx badge it has is not stock obviously as its on the floor shift console thats not original to car.
