So I was reading this article over at Hemmings Website

http://www.hemmings.com/magazine/hmn/2009/03/1976--80-Dodge-Aspen-R-T/1781100.html

And the Last paragraph states that All the R/T's were V8 Powered Coupe's. Where does that leave my 79 Aspen R/T which according the Fender Tag is an R/T with the Original /6 In it? The Fender Tag and VIN show it's a /6 Car, the ID Plate on the Side of the Engine Matches the VIN Code. So where does that Leave my Aspen?? The Guy I bought it from (and whose to really Know) said His Brother Used to own the Car and Bought it Brand New Special Order when he worked at a Dodge Dealership. So far I haven't found a Build Sheet in the car.

Yes, Hemmings is wrong. The 225 was the Standard engine in the R/T in 79 and the V8 was an extra cost option...straight from the Dealer Data book:
