What do you use ? Were do you get them ? Im looking into adding sales to our shop. We would be selling Meguiars, Mothers and 3M to start. Im hoping to be able to build a good mail order business with it.

So the questions are,

Do you use detailing supplies from the above manufactures ?

If yes, Which products do you use or are interested in trying ?

Do you buy your products locally on over the internet ?

Get them locally. Mequiars for Waxing. Mothers for polishing chrome and ceramic headers. Invisable Glass for cleaning glass.

Get mine locally, too.

I use a lot of Presta Products. It comes from my body shop days and what my local paint jobber carries.

There's a few Mequire's products I use, usually for vinyl, leather, and plastic, as well as Final Inspection.

I like Race Glaze, too, just for a final finishing cut before I go to wax.

Thanks guys, Do you know exactly which Meguiares products your using ? Are they from the professional line ?

The only thing I use from the professional series line is Final Inspection. Just 'cause a gallon goes a lot further and comes out cheaper than buying Quick Detailer retail.

I use the Gold Class line, available retail. The leather cleaner/conditioner and the Natural Shine Protectant. I've had good luck with those. I usually have Advance deliver to me when I'm running low.

Good luck with the sideline of the business, Adam.

Can't see profit when every car place or dept store auto section has it.

Theres all ways room for profit. Just carrying the line will save us money because we can get the products we use for cost instead of retail. Also our customers are all ways asking what can they use to keep the car clean so theres some profit to be made there.

Mequairs. Iv'e used all these products.

We dont use any of those although we would have access to them all.

We use
105 compound
205 polish
Hyperdressing
Synthetic Sealant 2.0
Techwax 2.0
Hyperwash
window concentrate
wheel brite
leather cleaner

What about 3M Marine Vinyl cleaner conditioner, or 303 Aerospace Vinyl Rubber protector? Anyone have any thoughts on using either of these products on a Volare's vinyl roof?
I live in a hot and sunny climate, that's why I thought the marine stuff would work well.
