Don't want the paint on the car ever to have brake fluid burn the paint...dot 3 is like 350 degrees...dot 4 is like 450 degrees and dot 5 is like 500 degrees....anyone using it on street cruiser...? I am thinking of using it since I have almost all new brake lines....?

Richard Erhenberg with Mopar Action says they are compatable...the three 11 oz bottles that I got for 9 bucks a piece said not to use in systems with dot 3 or dot 4 brake fluid...it did say it's boiling temp is 550 degrees and that it will not absorb water...?

My understanding is they will work together, but it is best if it is all the Dot 5 so you are sure to keep the moisture out. I will probably do it to mine when I swap out the rear.

I got to get started on my car, too many other things getting in the way.

I used two and half 11 oz bottles...the front lines were completly new so I recycled some of it and poured it back into the master cylinder through a paint filter...the back lines were flushed out with DOT 5 and it was discarded.
