EFI fuel tank

did any of the FMJ body cars come with a EFI fuel tank that will fit in a Aspen/Volare?

No. Since they never had efi theres no tank you'll need to be creative.

I used the Holley in tank retrofit kit. With our shallow tank, it was tight at the limit of how short you can make it. I used Part# 12-136 it accounts for the lack of tank baffling with a wicking mat that is surprisingly effective at keeping the pump from being starved.

So the 88-89 M body cars did not have the TBI 318 engine?

No, they were carbed till the end. Which is a bit odd because trucks got it and those two years got some of the biggest changes in the entire run next to the shift from the 70s to 80s styling.

Interesting! I assumed the cars got the same as the trucks
