Im doing a 360, stroked to 387ci. Im using a K1 crank, 3.79 stroke. The rod journals are 2.1 chevy size. I had another keyway machined into the snout. Im using K1 rods, 6.125 and again using chevy .927 wrist pin. This lets me use an off the shelf forged 2618 Diamond piston designed for a sb chevy 383 stroker engine. The longer 6.125 rods made the 1.55 piston compression height work to yield a zero deck height. The pistons are -30cc and Im using Edelbrock 63cc heads. This will be a 8.5 to 1 compression ratio engine. I had the heads 0-ringed and the block has receiver grooves. Im using SCE copper head gaskets. An all billet 8-71 blower with hard annodized case and teflon tipped rotors with 14mm drive will top off the engine.

Just got one done shorty....little pepped up 318...flat top pistons .073 in the hole at TDC....440/440 lift cam with 260/260 duration...Cast 308 heads off of a 1989-1991 truck...the block is a 69 truck block that had a forged crank in it that I had turned .010/.010 and polished...whole rotating unit balanced and I built it up fresh about a month and a half ago...

Looks nice! One question, why the 8.5-1 CR? Want to run it on lower octane or future boost?

Never mind...my happy self just looked again-BLOWER!

Yep...8-71 Blower. I might whack is with a 100 shot of N20. Nitrous enters the engine at -125 degrees and will cool down the intake air alittle bit. Im running full groove main bearings to supply a constant flow of oil to the rod bearings. I had to buy two sets of main bearings as only 1/2 and 3/4 grooves are available. All that extra cylinder pressure wants to go some where. The O-ringed head gasket setup will not fail. And with 1/2 groove main bearings, only 1/2 the oil supply is fed to the rod journals.
