What are 360s that have sat for years going for these days? I'm figuring 318s are $100 so a 360 is what, $150? I can't help but figure my time tearing one down into what I would pay for one. Transmissions too. $100 for one?

When I see a guy with a mopar engine that has sat for 20+ years asking stupid money I can't help but think either he's insane or I'm a cheap jerk

I don't *need* an engine. The little 318 does just fine. I just want to have a spare engine on hand ready to go for when the 200,000+ mile 318 I have says enough is enough.

I've seen engines that need a rebuild go for more then that and then you also hit the issue where people pull that 200,000mi engine and think it's worth a bit because it still runs. Or people start selling the heads separate but don't reduce the price of what's left.
Transmissions usually a bit more especially if they still work.
