F- m body rear suspension exch.

Can you put f body rear springs on m body. Want to see if caltrac would fit. Calvert does not list the m body.

FMJ springs are 58" long
With a 24" front segment
And 34" rear segment

What leaf packs were on the common F or M? I count 4 on my f coupe, but there is a set in my shed with 7? I think. I don't know if they truly were from an FMJ, but the measurements check out correctly.

My J-body has four leafs per side. The new epso springs for the Aspen are five each. Stock was four each IIRC.

X2.....4 was standard.
My Fifth has five because someone added a hitch and an extra spring.

5 leaf are heavy duty, 4 leaf are standard. The 6 and 7 leaf units are custom, and were available from a couple of catalogs back in the day. F, J and M bodies have the same suspension parts front and rear.
