Lots of fun and great album covers here.

Pretty eclectic - Mrs Mills and the Faith Tones on one hand....
and Black Sabbath on the other hand! Sweet

Then the sack dropped.
There was this singer, from Australia, so he was an 'Aussie' and his nickname was 'Aussie' Ozbourne.
But Americans are so stupid...it's now Ozzy. They know Ozzie and Harriet, but have no clue what an Aussie is.

Please tell me your joking....

Look at an early album cover. It's Aussie Ozbourne.

An early Ozzy album cover? Ozzy Osbourne was never known as Aussie... he's from Birmingham, England. I hope you're joking too, and I'm just not in on it! Or you're talking about something totally different.

I dunno. I have early Black Sabbath albums I bought way back when and it was Aussie Ozbourne.

Up here with the british flavor, we know what an Aussie is. That's how the school days story goes long before 'Blizzard of Oz'

Gotcha... it must have just been some oddball misprint. Ozzy is not from Australia, and his nickname was never officially Aussie. Every early BS album I've ever seen (I've seen a lot, been Sab fan from way back), including the Castle prints have never been "Aussie". Must be real serious oddball misprint.

Ok, looked at my albums between Big Country and Boston.:toothy10:
My BL albums are Canadian printings. And I have Aussie and Ossie, no Ozzy. Must be a printing thing.
The first album and Bloody Sabbath.

Anything from Roxy Music. Manafesto (1979), Flesh+Blood (1980) and Avalon (1982) are my favorites. Public Image Ltd's first album is awesome too.

ding ding ding!!! Hello...now we're talking. Yeah, Roxy Music were amazing, but let's not forget Ultravox, they were an early 80s icon. Here's an example of their early stuff.
