Looking for a piece I can weld in. See pic. It needs to be a bit bigger than this. Anyone parting out a J body that is willing to cut me out a section? This is the passenger side. looks like the redneck way to get rid of the catalytic converter
 
I think the front floor pan on a J-Body is the same as a M-Body,Can anyone confirm this.
 
M-body is the same, that is definitely the catalytic converter hump that is missing. You could fab up a patch and run seat tracks for a more common body style.
 
Call Jim in Az. He might have a rust free section for sale.

So there was some weird hump there for the catalytic converter? Guess a piece of smooth metal would be better than that.
