    Need to change my gas tank in my father's 83 5th AV but need the filler seal at the tank anyone have a source for getting them any help would be appreciated thank you in advance

    I used it in my 79 and my 77 (hump tank). The 79 should be the same as the M body tank, just the filler neck differs at the cap end. Dante was local, so when I first did the 77 hump tank, I'd figure it was a decent experiment with little to lose. Neither the 79 nor 77 had any issue in 3 years.

    I just got the same part for my Dart from MrMoparts.net. Excellent quality and it was only about $15 or so.

    Use this part number.
    When yo google it it still shows as a current part so you should be able to get it from a local Chrysler dealer and they can confirm what it it's supposed to be for at the same time.

    4002010, is the right one. Call your local dealer and see if they can get it and the price. I got mine cheaper from a Dodge dealer that sells on ebay.
