My friend bought a 1976 volare in the 80s from the original owners, all the time he had that car, he couldn't keep paint on them, the car wiring was bad so in the 90s he stripped car out, everyone at body shops told him the fenders were aluminum, has anyone heard of that. if anyone interested I could ask if he still has parts for volares.

I think the replacement fenders were galvanized.

like chain link fences and 'aluminumized steel exhaust' -I had some of that in the form of a TTI kit, and it still rusts with the vehicle sitting on grass here in the south, swamp, coastal town

umm hell yeah please ask for parts- love this community!!

We would be interested in the parts, but what I am saying about the fenders is that because they put the galvanized coating on the metal. The paint chemists did not plan on bonding their products on the coating that was designed resist corrosion.

brother at least list them here or aspenandvolare.com because people ask for $250 for a pair that they won't ship or up to $1200 for a pair on eBay.

if you list them on eBay for a hundred bucks a piece, you won't wait long
