How do you remove a headlight switch in a Cordoba? Has anyone done this? Thanks

There is a release button on the switch to remove the knob. Then there is a nut if I remember correctly

1. Remove dash instrument cluster facia-surround, remove two screws...
at top and bottom of switch face-plate.
2. Disconnect electrical plug and remove switch from dash. To disassemble, press down the release button on the bottom of switch....
3. While holding release button, pull switch post out...
4. Unscrew face-plate from the switch mounting plate if you need to remove the switch for replacement.

Thanks. I got it out, from the '81 , that is at the wreckers. I also, got one 7" wide rim, while I was there.

Was that a leather or cloth interior? Were the seats still there?

Beige cloth interior. 81 Corinthian edition. Its been there for close to two years. I just saw it last month. Other than smashed front end, it must have been in beautiful shape when it arrived.
