After posting my happy 4th post, I had a brain fart... How about the Vets posting, post branch, div., where served etc here? That way we know who to thank... THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE, OR ARE STILL DOING!!!

But do understand if yer a part of the "I'd tell ya but then hafta kill ya" group, the dont tell just cause yer asked is acceptable.. ;)
 
Well, I'll start since no one else has volunteered. Joined the Air Force in 66 retired 86 after serving 20 years 5 month 11 days. Did half my service overseas - 2 years in Spain; obligatory year in Nam (10 months at Rocket City (DaNang) 2 month at Camp Eagle - all working with FACs, and 2 tours on Guam. Stateside spent time in MS, MA, TX, SC and final duty station at Andrews AFB

1981-1984 Active duty in the Army. Basic at Fort Knox, AIT at Redstone Arsenal, stationed at Fort Hood. 27 Gulf was my MOS. Chapparall Missile Tech.

US Air Force, 1990-1994. Stationed at Travis AFB, spend a few months in Egypt. Did POL (drove tanker trucks, hydrent trucks to refuel C-5's and C-141's. Worked in a tank farm for the last two years). Did reserves for a year, then got out.
 
just celebrated my 40th year of joining , US AF went in 71 ,air transport if ya couldnt tell,,did 2 tours in the land of rice bugs an heat, a tour in germany then instructor duty till 83 went to air guard called back to active in 2002 ,sandbox fun massive injury to right shoulder an arm put me out for good in 2006,. youngest son went in air force 2002 still serving,,I send a standing salute to anyone who wore a uniform in any branch ,we all gave some,,some gave all,,

Thanks for your service.... There are alot of sacrifices made when one decides to serve this great nation, and I am grateful for them.
