Anyone else notice that pistons for a 318 from Summit took a huge jump? The KB167s went from 276 to 354. The KB399s took about the same jump. Forged pistons went from 460ish IIRC to about 600. I didnt check prices for other motors but I went to Hughes website and quickly purchased a set of KB167s for 290 plus 20 bucks shipping just in case they are all going up.

Everything is jumping up. Real glad I bought my 360 pistons (JE's) last summer and my Mahle's for my Buick last fall. Energy price jumps make all prices jump, and then demand for non-essentials falls. Can't wait to see what this summer brings with $5+ a gallon fuel...

Hopefully it will bring about the cool multi-carb intakes, and big carbs down in price...:eusa_dance: But doubtful....
