How much is a 78 LeBAron worth?

I may have a chance to buy a 78 Le Baron cpe. Red, 318, t tops, 40,000 miles. Last time I saw the car it looked very good. Always garaged, from original owner, just buff, a set of Cragar SS's and cruise in style. (I know it will need some TLC to become a dependable cruiser) What's it worth? tmm

No pics yet. I haven't gone to look at it. I saw it at a customers shop a few years ago when they reworked the front brakes. (darned sticky caliper pistons) I remember it as a very clean red/maroon factory t top car with a 318/ auto. I can't remember wether it had buckets or a column shift but I liked the shag carpet. LOL. Back in the late 70's there were a couple around town. a red (maroon) one and a green Diplomat. Both had Cragar SS wheels and were jacked up a bit which was popular for the day.They were both sharp as Hell and unusual because they were the only ones in town. TMM

You have to see it in person.
I have passed on several after a look at the driver's subframe.

T tops leak, NOS seals are $400 a side and there are less than 3 sets left in the world.
$2500 is as high I would go.
$1000-$1500 is what I'd pay.

Pretty well the same, except stock wheels/hubcaps.
I traded my wheels and $100 for the Mirada wheels.
Paint was nice, but there where dings on the passenger side.
Repainted it in 98 for $1200.
One owner Texas car, 59,000 miles, working A/C.
