Hi all, I have been restoring my B-Body Charger for the past 10 years, and wanted to get something to drive that was a little closer to done. I recently purchased an F-Body 1980 Plymouth Volare original Slant 6 car with no engine/transmission, which I will be putting a rebuilt 383 B-Block with Mopar stage IV cylinder heads. This engine was installed in my Charger, but has never run. It was not the original engine as the Charger was born as a 318 cid car, but I am currently building a 500 cid engine from 440 source to put in the Charger this summer. I am hoping to have the Volare on the road within the next 4 to 6 weeks.
I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
 
I hope you'll keep us updated through your project. I surely would love to see some pictures of the Volare and the engine.

I started a thread today on the Volare. I will post pictures as I work through the project.
