Thanks. It was your car that brought me here. I saw it in Mopar Action and wanted to know more about how you performed your swap. I am putting a 6.1 in my Mirada so I'm hoping to learn from others what my challenges will be.

There was a guy putting a whole Mirada body around a complete SRT chassis yrs ago.

He's on facebook. His name is John Morawski, and his build page is SRT-8 Mirada. His build is almost done, and it looks incredible.

I had
n't seen that one. That's a sweet ride.
My intention is to keep it as much of a Mirada as possible except for the 6.1 hemi. I started putting in a big block but lost interest. The car sat for years until I bought a Magnum SRT8. I was so impressed with this engine that I came up with a new plan. Here's a pic:

Sweet! I built a 440 Mirada many years ago. It made a hell of a sleeper, but it handled like a brick.
