So the fifth avenue is on hold because two other vehicles are down.

Still waiting for fedex to deliver parts to fix the ford, which are no doubt going to be dropped off in the dark, in the rain, after 8 tonight necessitating a 1/4 mile drive to the front of the property to get the parts.

USPS did a fine job of wedging a delivery box in the mailbox at noon. That contained a part which fixed the chevy (transfer case control module). Wonderful. About 30 minutes of futzing with the dash and plugs and switches. Old module out, new one in. It works. It fixed the problem.

An hour later I take the chevy up the hill to check on the fedex delivery and the rain starts -- and yes the freakin driver side wiper won't move. I fiddle with the most likely suspects, but it does appear I need to remove the wiper arm, the cowl, and tighten the nut on the bottom side.

It never ends.
