My Mopar buddy was junkyarding this weekend and run across a 78/79 or so 2 door M Body, equipped with a 318/904/8.25, auto on the floor with bucket seats and console, power windows, locks etc. He said it looks to be complete even with exterior trim. He didn't have a camera with him so no pics. I'm going back with him this coming weekend. Any interest in this stuff? If so, drop[ me a PM with what you might be interested in and we'll see what we can do.

I'd tell you to grab the whole car since it sounds like a gold mine of parts, but not all yard owners are hip to that. In MI, it's really easy to get a title so the owners are less hesitant to let the whole car go.

My friend and I will not be able to get to the junkyard that has this complete M body this weekend. His brother (who lives at home) is suspected of verbally and mentally abusing his elder Mother as well as cleaning out her bank accounts. Told him take care of this NOW! The car can wait.

Ship him to the junkyard and bring the car home.

My buddy and I made a small road trip yesterday so he could look at some truck parts. On the way home we stopped at the junkyard where this car is resting. Yes - the junkyard was open on Easter Sunday and busy as all get out! I was able to take a look at the car and does appear to be pretty complete. As soon as my phone gets charged I'll download the pics I took. Film at 11!

Pictures of the car. To the poster who asked about a 100MPH speedometer - sorry I don't know and didn't even think to get a close-up of the dash. I don't know if the wheel in the last pic is rare or worth anything but appears to be a factory Chrysler wheel; there were only 2 of them. If there's any interest in anything, I have no idea of what the yard will charge. I will not be able to get back there till May 3rd - my next Sat off.

ah hell its a 80-81 lebaron coupe, more rare then the 70s variations
I wouldn't mind the counsel, and the one eagle emblem that's left on the taillight

that whole dash assembly-top panel- front right side fits a volare-aspen real well. i removed my dash panel and painted the 5ths dash , it took about 2 hours and just a bit of trimming to make it fit... pics soon

It won't have a 100mph speedo if its an 80-81,But i am looking for the rear side marker lights off an 80-81 Lebaron,Can you check next time you go. Thanks
