I have the car coming along nice. 360 in the machine shop. Question for everyone, what front shocks are y’all using?
KYB GasAJust...not a fan; feel insanely stiff with solid Kframe mounts. Expansion cracks in the highway/overpasses make it feel like the cars going to hop off the road. Have been thinking about dropping coin for adjustable shocks from Viking Performance.
Front shock selection for these cars is nil. The rears are easy enough to convert to B body shock plates; which gets you B body shocks. I've seen the lower control arms modified to accept GM F body shocks though.
FWIW I'm running Bilstein on mine. Bought them when they were still $200 a shock. Now? Forget it. If I was doing it over again I would modify the lower control arms.
