Hello all, in the middle of replacing a cracked manifold on my 81 dodge mirada with a slant 6. Just purchased the car recently and discovered the linkage from the kick down cable to the carb is missing. It is the holly 1945 single barrel with the throttle going left and right(relation to position in car). The connection on the kick down cable goes front amd back. So not sure how the motion gets changed 90°. I have looked on forums/eBay/called Mopar friends, at a bit of loss of what to do. Looking for help/pictures of what a proper set up looks like/part numbers/etc.

Thank you in advance!

Don't know if this will help. From a '79 parts catalog, and '79 service manual. May not apply to an '81.

Goes without saying but, don't drive it without the linkage hooked up. The trans won't last long without it.
