Hey guys....I live in southeastern nebraska and have a 79 volare wagon....it's about to get a makeover, I'm looking to build a multipurpose hot rod that, with a few tweaks here and there, can be used for drag racing, road racing, and maybe even some top speed type stuff, and still be street legal.....I'll be looking for spoilers and flares, and lots of advice.....

Thanks guys! Should be fun, right now it has a leaning tower of power with at least one dead hole, going to dig into it to see what happened, but I do have a 383 that needs rebuilt as well, trying to decide between that or maybe just going with a modern 5.7 hemi....
 
Either way sounds like a cool idea. If money wasnt an issue Id go for the 5.7 swap. I got a 440 going into mine. Im kind of dreading squeezing it in there
