New guy questions

Not up to speed on FMJ Imperial body parts. But does the Imperial share any body parts with other J models ? doors? fenders ?
Also has anyone installed a console with auto floor shifter in an IMP, what was the console swapped out of ?

Console from a 80-83 Mirada or Cordoba will fit, same floor pan.The J-Body guys will have to chime in about the body parts.

I think the Imp shares fr. fenders with the chrome grill Cordoba, not the LS pkg Cordoba and no Mirada. The doors interchange btwn all 3 J bodies. I believe Farleys has all this info and much more on his site. His site always pops up when you google anything FMJ body related. It maybe Farleys.org or .com, Im not sure.

A good general area of information about a lot of things is http://www.dippy.org/upgrade/index.html - the problem is a few years back they did a site upgrade that deleted a lot of pictures and links (that no one has ever gone into to fix).
