Hey , Im new here. My dad had an old 85 Fifth avenue sitting out in the yard thats been there for about 5 years. I just decided today that i want to spend some time and make it a decent weekend cruiser. ( for when im not driving my 440 duster ) Its a faded red right now, with some graffitti on it. needs all new brakes, and fuel lines. frame is decent enough. few small rust spots on body. im planning on spending as little as possible to get it running and in decent shape. im gonna pull the factory worn out 318 and put in a 318 I have with 340 x Heads and a 340 cam, replace the factory 2.26 7.25 with a 8.25 2.91 ratio police rear. primer it, with a two tone style top in black. I have a set of keystones for it . and a go-wing possibly, with a dual snorkel duster style scoop. I have all that stuff from my recent build. it wont be much to look at, but itll get me around and be a little better on gas than my big block haha. glad to be part of the site for sure though !
