New Rad installed

I use a Chevy HHR fan, new off rock auto I think it was $35 with shipping when they were on close out. Here is a pick. Pulls about 3000 cfm.

Try a Furd Contour fan. Dual fans with a low/high resistor.

With the fan almost covering the whole rad it may work with no shroud, at highway speed it should cool well, nothing to block the air flow as long as everything is sealed off up front.

UPDATE: Drove into work on Monday- that's 20 miles each way on Rt 295 and such other highways and then down rt55 on the way home. Both times foot heavy and RPMs around 4000 rpm at times. The temp stayed below 200 deg F. Coolant is all burped of air. Transmission hoses started to leak a bit. I had gone with a fancy mesh flex type hose- never again it sucks. Fuel line will fix that crap. Just for reference, I'm running a 430 ring gear and a 29 inch tall drag radial, so the car revs into the sky easily, but will face heat due to the higher revs.. So far so good. I'm satisfied with the result.
