Not a lean burn but it did have some weird spark control system with no vacuum advance.

Someone screwed up.

They rarely leave batteries in these cars.

The car is complete. Aside from some body damage, I couldn’t find anything missing. It has an 8.25 axle with 2.45 gears and 10” drum brakes. These axles are close to 62-70 B body width and would fit a Duster or Demon.
The 11” front discs look excellent.
Go get ‘em !

I posted this ONLY to alert others that this car is in this junkyard and ready for picking. I am NOT pulling any part from this car in an effort to sell to anyone.

Spark Control is the new and improved name for Lean Burn after Lean Burn customers got burn-out syndrome.

I enjoyed how the positive is the negative and the negative is is the positive for the battery cables.

Welcome to the wild world of FMJ bodies! Where nothing makes sense and the cars don't matter (except to us)

that would be tragic if they couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start and it just be the battery
Jesus what a horrifying thought. I can tell the cables are reversed in color, but I can't tell if the battery is hooked up to the wrong terminals.

blow the picture up and you can see a little + to the left of the red cable's lead connector

You've got better eyes than I do, or a better screen resolution. It's kinda depressing to see a car go out like this over a battery

Edit: @Kern Dog if you were looking to grab one of these FMJ cars this might be the one. Especially if it's just the frigging battery.

It doesn't say spark control it says combustible computer or something like that on it.

The air cleaner, throttle bracket and various rods and other 4bbl parts are worth grabbing off it.

Yeah hopefully the battery hook up failure isn't what put it there but could well be.

Someone should grab the bumpers...i am guessing just light pitting, so easy to re-finish and a genuine 'gold find' for the mid-west folks where it's all been eaten away by good old O2.

If/When I get one, I want a 4 door. Everything else I own is a 2 door, I want something different.
