Old Dodge Brothers dash clock/pocket watch?

I saw this on EB, and was very temped to bid, but it quickly ran up beyond what I was willing to pay. I thought it was very interesting and I've never seen one before. Apparently it was used with a mount (missing) to attach to the dash of your ancient Dodge motor car. Looks like a pocket watch to me. I wouldn't have any use for it, but I would like to have had it regardless. Sold for $132 with 26 bids. Huh.

It would be 1924 or older.
But since both Dodge brothers died in 1920, I'd more say 1920 or older.

Cool. Wonder where it has been all these years, and how it wound up in Hawaii. I would really liked to have gotten it, but... a bit too pricey for something I don't need. That logic does not apply to anything that I buy for OY though.

I remember reading about those. Use it as a clock in the car and then when you get where you're going, take it out and put it in your pocket, or hook it to your watch chain.
