I had some good old Ontario government games today.
I have a old red & white OHIP card and they want me to upgrade to the new style.
I didn't have a birth certificate or a passport on me so I couldn't prove I was a Canadian.
Guess the last 50 yrs of OHIP information isn't available to OHIP.
Turns one trip into two.

I was reading this ridiculous thing last night. Looks my Fifth is going to be on the road till I croak. Any leaks will fail it. Find me a car that's over two years old that doesn't have a leak somewhere.

The plot to make you be a good little consumer and buy a new car continues. I'm really curious to see how heavily this effects us.

Yup ... I specifically searched '87 and older mopar vehicles just to stay away of the nanny state .. I wonder how long before they come after the old classics like ours?

That's what I'm wondering too. I'm hoping that if it's already registered we'll be covered by the grandpa technicality.

The government must have found out I was considering beating a post 87.
Was thinking to look outside the pre 88 box for old person low mileage Mopar.

I used to make good money in the 70's/early 80's flipping cars.
Then new rules after new rules took that cash cow away.

Looks like it has been a good idea for you guys to stock pile all of those cars that you have. You are not going to get any more if those in your collection break.

I dunno how the new rules play out in old cars.
Cracked windshields are now in wiper track v/s line of site, but I haven't been buying cars with cracked windshields.

I dunno how picky leaks will be in old iron cars v/s 5/10 yr old cars.
Like I said, oil spray.

Rest is for newer cars w/ air bags/ABS/sensors/check engine light, ect.
Even in the steering rules, it says 'rack and pinion'

I'm not sure either. I'm going to ask my buddy who does my safeties about it and see what his take on it is.
