The old Sewell train station as the sun is getting low behind the trees. And Yes, the slots are back on!

Wish my dad was still around. Not only could he wrench a mopar, but he was an old school hobbiest photographer and could land the shot way better than I ever could with the right type of zoom and where to have the light angled. those Cragar SST center caps fit those Gyro slots nice. Had quite a bit of rubber neck'n and even a goober at a red light that wanted to dance.

Lol!!
Goober!! Classic!
Wish my dad was here too man.
He wasn't a good photographer and wasn't even all that great at wrenching.
But he was an awesome guy and I miss him and he loved old cars.
He got me into them.
He never bought new.....always bought old land yachts.

Hell Billy.....think of a catch line so I can make one of those posters out of one of those pics....

Catchline: Volare waiting on an old sunset train. Or Burnt Orange Sunset Volare. Or Sunset Speed Train.

I just remembered that I dated some wacked out chick a few blocks from the station. I mean the violent punch happy type too. So crazy train would had been too easy.

Billy Looks retro cool,Definate 70's vibe,Those slots really set it off nice..........Sinister

I just think of the Mattel Hotwheels of the early 70's. All of them had really big tires in the back. Watch any old TV show from the 70s. Starsky & Hutch (the TV show from the 70s not the Ben Stiller movie) was the coolest. How come Knight Rider never did a smokey burnout? I have old hotwheels stickers with the old logo. If my kid could draw it larger, she could do the 1/4 panel on the Volare. However, I am really liking the one solid color that has the changing effect to it.

It's the only line I could think of......

I love the big meats in the back.
Total 70's which I really like.
Awesome stance on that car!!

Nice! You know that line for having a drink, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere!" It's 8:30 am and I really want to fire the Volare up, but it is a Sunday............ My neighbors would put me up on a cross for sure, but the Volare is hungry.

Lmao!!
Give it an hour then fire the beast up.
I'd say 9:30 is respectful enough....

I'd love to haul out the Caravelle but it's actually snowing here right now......damn!

Yep, going to be tough not to treat the Volare like a hooker with a chipped tooth.

Thanks. My wife is is going to stab me with a straight pin to deflate the ego. Eve is really starting to get to her.
