I had too but managed to get hold of a reasonable priced one on Ebay. They are not my cup of tea. Good to see you saved the clip as it could easily be adapted.Installed, man you weren't kidding, totally different, I even had to go back and get an adapter for the vacuum hose because even that was different View attachment 55808
That clip is for the wires on that side, it wasn't really attached anymore so I just moved it to hold the new heater valve in place, I couldn't find any zip ties, but is staying place fine just balancing on it (go figure)I had too but managed to get hold of a reasonable priced one on Ebay. You should've seen the Matador in a nearby junkyard, it had parts from all different makes, I helped them take it apart right before they crushed it, it had the same seatbelt buckles our Ms have, the radio also had Chrysler Corp stamped on the top, the keys and ignition were GM (with AMC logos) I remember seeing stuff with Ford logos too, whatever fits I guessI have an AMC SC/360 with a cold air hood and the little vacuum actuator quit working. I searched everywhere. I eventually discovered that the vacuum thingy was a Ford part. They were used on Mustangs, Torinos all kinds of things so once I discovered that I had no trouble getting it and it was EXACT. Thats why they were called All Makes Combined. Car makers did this more than people think
