I installed some poly sway bar bushings by Energy Suspension on the front 1 1/8" sway bar on my '84 5th, replacing the rubber bracket bushings and the bar bushings. The end links where already poly's. The kit for this is 5.5111. R at the end is for red color, which is what I used. The only problem I experienced is the bolts supplied for the end links where to short. They are 2" in the kit. I used a 2.5" bolt and one retainer on each side so that the bolt would not hit the torsion bar isolator on the lower control arm and so that whey fit properly. Cost was around $36 plus shipping from ebay.

Very happy with the results. Hope this helps anybody wanting to do the same to their F/M/J.

The kit came with some grease already. I've read that dielectric grease also works, and I read on some Corvette board that they use teflone tape around the bar where the bushings go. Funny thing is, the instructions I got with the bushings I have for the rear bar (also Energy Suspension) said to use the zerk fittings in the housing with "your favorite grease". So, I just used chassis grease that was in my grease gun. No squeeks...but there is some at the end links in the rear though.
