Got the Asspen to the track last month, my 18 y/o son drove it the 90 miles, ran a couple time trials before he cut a rear tire some how. It ran a 13.6 on first ever pass with no tuning other than setting timing and idle when I first broke in the cam.

The 355 gear set broke the sure grip, so we threw some 486 with a mini spool and some 29 inch tires on it, they were still too low and ran out of around 1000 foot mark. Going to try some 391,s and 27 inch tire.

Wow, 13.6, very impressive! And that Dart in the 12's!

I love the striping on the Aspen. I don't remember; was that a factory stripe design. It looks great and the colors are perfect.
 
I was happy for the 1st time out with no tuning and factory leaf springs. I am not sure if it is a factory stripe or not? Its not a real R/t, just a 318 aspen with a stripe and spoiler.
 
i think i have asked what town you are in before but i think we are not that far apart. im in faribault, 50 miles south of st paul or 40 miles north of albert lea
