I have a couple of the tiny NOCO's and they are really good and don't hurt to carry around. They are really handy for car shows or auctions and they will do a lot of cars before they need to be plugged in. I have a whole bunch of various Schumaker chargers and trickle machines.
I do believe she does not want a jump pack though

This is a two step problem/solution.
First I wanted to replace my charger with one I could read easier and that wasn't so heavy. Checked off - done!

Second, I'll need a jump pack when my budget can accommodate it next year.
So any recommendations on that are welcome, although, my pocketbook is otherwise obligated this year.

Even if you get a smaller jump box that you can keep in your driver, I had one 25 years ago that I could charge with the power outlet on my dash, you will never be stranded with dead battery.
I believe the one I had was a 1000 amp and it came in handy when my daughter was having problems with her car. The battery in my car trailer was 13 years old and was done so I hooked up the jump box and her Pontiac got drug up on the trailer three times in one week. That’s power to get the winch out, then winch the car back on the trailer three times without recharging plus it sat out in the cold. I’ve been impressed with it.

Getting a small two stroke engine to run properly is a skill, a very specialized skill. I don't know how to do it, and evidently, neither does the guy in the video. If it were tuned properly by a small engine mechanic, I have no doubt that it would start just fine, just like properly adjusted chain saws do. I find the lack of electrical safeties a little disturbing (reverse charging protection, overload, and voltage regulation), but that is just me.

I think a good Lithium based booster would be a much better idea, Something like one of the Noco units, or a similar unit. It doesn't have the two stroke engine noise to scare off wolves, Zombies, or murderers, but will get you back on the road faster, and you don't end up gassing yourself on two stroke exhaust fumes.

I really must admire Bill Lear. This guy just came up with the most interesting inventions.

I'm officially moving you over to the "He's A Keeper" column!

Used your recommendation of CTEK battery charger this week and it was such a pleasurable experience....
and best of all, not only could I see the status but I didn't worry when I walked away and left it running.

Now to see if I can get my motor running.
