Has anyone used the poly bushings?

http://www.forfmjbodiesonly.com/classicmopar/showthread.php?t=79&highlight=bushings

It looks like the supply of the "pivot cushion bushings" has dried up (these cars must eat them) so the poly version is it. I'm OK with that :) I am thinking about changing in the short term the pivot cushion, bar to lower arm and sway bar bushings. The car drives sloppy and needs alinement and these bushings look crushed and failed. The control arm bushings look like they could go a little longer and since they are a lot more hassle

Any advise from those that have changed these before? I have had coil and leaf spring suspensions apart before so I am not a nube. Warnings, shortcuts, things to look for?

Thanks,
Mark

Take pictures before disassembly. Back off the adjusters and unbolt them. I used the poly bushings on my car. They do come in black by the way.

Thanks for the replies. Not going with solid sub-frame bushings, that's a bit radical for this cruiser. The poly bushing for the pivot and end of the torsion bar looks to be the way to go. I got depressed when I looked up the cost of the end bushings and found the pivot bushings rare as hens teeth. :laughing6: The poly inserts are not all that pricey and should last forever for me.
