Take a walk on the wild side, sweet Jane! We just lost Lou Reed @ the age of 71 due to "liver related ailments", or, d*ck-in-ass disease. Even Metallica respected & idolized Lou. Unless there's something else in the can, they released a joint album for his last recordings. Spill the wine, take that pearl.

You got that right. Along with Andy Warhol, the avante garde was alive & well in New York. Any new wave or punk artist owes Lou a debt of gratitude. CBGB'S never could have gotten off the ground without them.
