You can get springs with the round eye from Espo Springs

Any spring shop even small local ones can make or bring in springs with the round bolt eye at the front.

I assume you mean the front "oval" eye, right? You can get replacements bushings. I replaced mine a couple of months ago. I wouldn't be so quick to replace them with an alternative. The new replacements are pretty stout !!
