What's the difference btwn the 76-77 and 78-79 rear spoilers? Can one pass for the other?

76-77 were one piece and 78-79 were 3-piece. If your not an absolute purist you can use either one on any year. 3-piece is alot harder to find. I know because I`m looking for one.
