Wondering if anyone has a shop manual with a diagram of all the bits and pieces to install a Sanden style compressor to a slant. I have all the parts from a 79 Aspen/Volare I bought years ago from another member and need to see how everything goes together. Likely the M/J manuals have the same info. Thanks in advance for any help!

I looked in my manual and have several pages.
What are you specifically looking for? How it comes apart (like the first picture) or just what the parts are (like the 2nd picture)?

I think he means how all the brackets go on the engine to hold it.

Slant 6 with ac.. how much does that slow things down?

Thanks for the replies. Here is what the member sent me for the mount:

The main bracket with the pulley has these holes

Of which 3 of the aluminum bracket holes lines up perfectly with those on the pulley bracket. Of course what i have is nowhere near matching the diagram that was posted

Or perhaps this main assembly installs against the block or water pump? Still can’t picture how the compressor mounts with what I have left

I googled it and found this picture from this post. Hopefully that helps. Or see if you can find pics of an 80s slant 6 truck with ac?

Many Thanks for the lead; i did some backtracking from that picture on FABO and found a wealth of pictures more than sufficient to assemble the mount and install the compressor to the mount. It appears I have everything to do the job. Thanks to everyone!

Glad it helped. Sometimes pictures of the actual installation is the best thing to have.

Looks like you must have later brackets that are different than '79 (parts catalog illustration).

At any rate, hopefully it freezes you out of the car :)

I’m looking for that setup I have 79-80 brackets
