Street F Body on pump gas

Hey everybody It's been a while since I have been hanging out here. I see some badass cars on here running some super good numbers. Mine is still a 100% street car , Full interior and even heavier than it was from Ma Mopar. I call it a fat girl. Anyhow It has run a best of 10.48 @ 129 with full exhaust and Hoosier street slicks. That was last year at MIR at a Mopar show. It is always on 93 octane and I have yet to spray it. I do have a 100 shot on it and hope to try it this year. My best 1/8 time is 6.50 @105. It does make people notice my street car at the track .

Tell us your engine trans gear combo

Sure it has an old 318 X Block with 4 bolt mains filled with Eagle crank , rods and Ross pistons. 422 cubic inch with Indy 360-1 heads. 727 transmission built by John Cope and a Strange Dana 60 with a spool and 4.30 gears. Pretty basic old school stuff.

That suspension has to be pretty well worked out to hook respectably...what's the secret?

5500 Turbo Action converter. Strange single adjustable coil over shocks on the rear and Morrison ladder bars. More setup for pro street looks than race car. Lots of tire in the back and way too tall for my gear. But they look good. LOL
