They were wrong! (sort of). The snow/sleet/rain crap went a few miles south of here. Only got to the mid 40's BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the sun was out and the wind speed was exactly zero, zip, nada, none. Turned out to be a not so bad day! Got a ton of yard work taken care of. Kind of clouded up around 5pm though.

Got 1.5" of rain yesterday, with another 1.5" and a t-storm in the evening and then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I wake up to this. 6" of wet snow. Really? Seriously? One good thing, even though it barely hit 40 today is the sun came out this afternoon and the ground is already thawed so, pretty much all the snow is gone. Got a little scared at first, it's been so long I forgot what that orange orb in the sky was. Then it came back to me, it's our friend the sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forecast shows 50's and 60's from now on so is it really truly spring at long last? Please? Pretty please?

All the salt should be gone here as well. Amazingly,,,,,,,,,they didn't salt yesterday(!) Now, if the street sweepers would come out and get rid of the sand and pebbles, we'd be good to go!

What a difference a day makes. Not that warm yet (high 30's) but there isn't a cloud to be seen, the birds are chirping, there's basically no wind and it's headed to about 60 degrees. Didn't hear the frogs croaking in the storm water sediment ponds behind my yard yet, maybe tonight? HOPE! Once I hear them, I'll know all will be well with the world for a few months.

We've got bright and sunny also, 64 now at noon and might get to 70. Wish I could say there's no wind but I'd be a liar. Seems to be coming from every direction at once at 5-25 with gusts to 35 mph. It's like it comes from the south, then switches to the west, back to south, then east, then swirls around in circles,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it's enough to piss a guy off trying to do anything outside. Kind of screws up any planned yard work.

I can be fairly confident that spring is really here now. Heard frogs last evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They also say the tree pollen is "very high". Never would have guessed that one (itchy eyes and nose, sinus pressure sneezing,, cough, cough, sneeze, sneeze.................). Waiting for the allergy medicine to kick in. Hate taking pills but sometimes to stay functioning, no choice.

Hey, anyone need some wind? You can have some of ours, we've got plenty. Sunny and mid 60's but the wind just won't quit. Today it's worse than yesterday. Been blowing 20-40 mph and gusting to almost 55 mph ALL FREAKING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Just started here......
Supposed to be blowing a gale tonight as a cold front moves through. It's blowing like crazy here already.

Yipee! The wind went away last night. Got to high 60's and sunny, wind not more than a gentle breeze. Pretty darn nice for this time of year if you ask me. Kind of humid though,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,8% LOL

One small downside to 8% humidity, soon as the sun sets the temp will drop like a stone into the low 30's in the city and mid 20's in the outlying areas. Brrrrrrr.

If there's such a thing as a perfect weather day, this was it. Clear and sunny, high of 74 degrees, 12% humidity and a blustery wind of 1-2 mph. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same only better still (high of 78). Next week though,,,,,,,,,,,,,rain and/or snow, highs in the low 40's. WTF?

This was the last really nice day before the downward spiral starts to highs in the low 40's next week. Mostly sunny, hit 77 (avg high is only 51), 21% humidity and a light breeze. As I said, next week we have to pay for the weather this week. Hard to remember it was only last Friday I woke up to 4" of fresh snow on the ground. Spastic Wisconsin weather........

What the bleeping bleep happened? Pardon my French but the weather sucks big rubber donkey dicks. Was 44 at 5am, by 5pm down to just above freezing, All day it was rain/snow/sleet/ice pellets and/or any combination thereof. Add in that nice 15-25 mph NW wind and it is just not nice at all. Not even a tiny little bit. Sucks the ambition right out of a person. Worst part is it's going to be like this pretty much the entire week. :(

I feel your pain....
Had lots of rain but it was warm.
Then we got more rain and crazy winds and now the chill is on....lucky if we hit mid 40's all week and more rain or wet snow throughout the week......sucks.

Well, as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Been like this all day (got all the way "up" to 36F). The 15-35 mph NW wind is a nice added touch. Too bad about this global warming, isn't it? These were takne behind my house at 5:30pm. Speaking of a thousand words, I can think of quite a few right about now that I can't say here.

Big set back for the car season start. After all the snow, sleet and other assorted not so good things yesterday, it got to the low 20's last night so the roads turned to ice. I'll give you one guess what they did. Go on, I dare you to guess. Dirty no good rotten................Grumble, grumble.
Feels like early December out there. Dark, gray, 29 degrees(F), NW wind 15-35 mph which puts the windchill in the teens. Sucks in so many ways. It's just not right having to wear a heavy winter coat, stocking cap and gloves in late April. I've got a few choice words for that blow hard Al Gore.

All I want is for it to be warm again. Is that too much to ask? Had perfectly clear and sunny but STILL barely hit 40 and that stupid bleeping NW wind didn't help. They said 23 for a low tonight in the city and teens in the outlying areas. Seriously? It is almost May isn't it? Sigh.............Now that I want rain to wash the salt off the roads that they spread the night before last, naturally there's none in the 7 day forecast. Figures.............It's so dry we're back to the single digit humidity again so even if it did rain, it would never reach the ground. Only good news is supposed to be back to low 60's by the end of NEXT week. It's going to be a long few days waiting.
