The FMJ Weather Channel

49°F here at the moment, but we almost hit 55° today. Downright balmy for December... where are my flip-flops?

Sun made it's return today. Got up to the mid 40's and to make it better the wind speed was exactly zero. Forecast still shows mid 40's for at least the next 7 days and little to no chance of precip of any kind(!)
I wish December was always like this, in this part of the country.

Well, usually whatever weather I've got hits yon Captain the next day, or the day after that so he and anyone in his general area can look forward to a very-nice weekend.

See what I mean about the "banana belt" Aspen500? We were several degrees warmer than you were today, despite being 60+ miles north of ya in terms of latitude.

"They" said the sun would be out but it's almost noon and I haven't seen it yet.

"They" might just have laid on the 'government weather B/S' for the sheeple to give them hope.

"They" will know it will rain on a long weekend, but advertise nice weather.
Because if you knew it was going to be a washout early on, no one would go to the stores for the long weekend shopping frenzy.

No frost on the windows here this morning, stayed above freezing. Feels pretty darn good out there with bright sunshine, very little to no wind and up to 44 and it's not even noon yet.
By "feels good" I mean by December standards. 80 or 90 would feel way better though!

I'd love to whip it out except everythings got doused in salt the other day :(
Barely any evidence of that on the ground anymore, all melted. The 7-day forecast looks VERY good for the 2nd week of December, especially considering last year it was knee deep white stuff and high's in the teens! The lows are about the same as the average high temp. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Supposed to be mid-40s and sunny Saturday. A friend and I might actually go yarding!

Where oh where did the sunshine go? lol Overcast (fog this morning) and 41 degrees. Not a "nice" 41 though. It's damp feeling out and there's a 5-15 mph wind that goes right through a person. Still,,,,,,,,,,,,,,better than the alternative, right?

Almost a carbon copy here.
As Johnny would say. "And I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when." Holding in the 40's. No rain. No snow. Just a big blanket over the sky.

As a weather predictor, the models sure looks like a green Christmas unless there's a Siberian front that hits.

Might have to take the muffler off the lawn mower soon for the early morning Xmas grass cutting.
