Same thing seems to happen here also Doctor. Dark and overcast all day, then about 4pm the sun came out, just in time for it to set 10 minutes later :(
Still, low 40's in December is just fine even if it's overcast. Green Christmas? Got no problem with that!

Same here.
I'm absolutely fine with a green winter.

You mean Tow Mater isn't yours? ;)

No snow in the forecast, not even supposed to get below freezing until next week and that includes overnight low temps. Only precip is possibly heavy rain on Sunday (I think it was). Would be nice to see some sunshine again though, at least for a little while!

Still 48F at 7pm and it's not going to get much colder, so 'they' say.
It was sunny this morning, I thought 'right on!'
Then it set at noon and no more sun.

Started out at 42 this morning, up to 48 now. There's this bright orange thing in the sky that gives off light and heat. Not sure what it is or if I should be worried? lol

All the classics have been put away since prior to Halloween here. They did the first pre-salt on October 23rd because there was a very-narrow chance of snow. All they did was the bridges, but in this area it's hard to get from Point A to B without crossing at least one. Lots of rivers and streams 'round here.

Our ration of sun for the week yesterday, didn't last very long. By about 2:30 it was dark out. Working away in the shop (at work) and I thought it must be about 4pm. Looked at the clock, WTF, it isn't even quarter to 3. Drove home last night in a deluge,,,,,,,,,which was going sideways and that's always fun to drive in, especially when it's pitch black out. Took the freeway home for the first time in months and traffic was moving about 45-50 it was raining so hard. Sunday the forecast is 51(!) but also at least 2" of rain. Oh well,,,,,as long as it isn't snow, I'm happy.

Dec 12th and there's still buffalo hanging around.
Usually they'd be gone before the polar bears showed up, but the polar bears are still 550 miles N/W from here.

RCMP issued a warning to motorists about a buffalo herd seen crossing portions of Highway 35 about 25 to 30 kilometres south of Mt Forest.
The herd, estimated to be as large as 100 animals, has also been spotted on grid roads around the area.

Just saw your pics of 2010, Doc. Last evening on the weather they showed the snow depth on the ground for the last few years. Dec 11, 2010 was 16" but the following year in 2011 was only 2", 2014 was 9". For 2015 the depth is 0 inches so that makes this December the best one in a long time!

I dunno... I'd have to ask the ex-fiancee. She spoke Yiddish. My Dad spoke conversational Latin fluently, but my uncle was the only one who could converse with him when he did that. I speak redneck and Mopars, usually a blend of the two. :D

I'm not knockin' the weather at all... I'd just rather be making better use of it!
