Supposed to be Floodmageddon here starting tonight and into tomorrow. I'm so good with this. Wash all that blasted salt away so the toys can come out of the garage.

It rained like fark during the night, at least according to the news and other people's accounts.
Slept through it, heard nothing.
Then 9am, it poured again and the temp. fell from 60 to 40.
Power wash those roads.

Surprisingly enough when we got that 14" of snow last week, they didn't spread any salt! All they did, far as I can tell, is spray the brine solution on bridges, underpasses and the one round-a-bout I go through everyday. Other than that, looks clean except for all the sand and small rocks all over (come on street sweepers).
Had sunshine and mid 50's today. Not bad really. One more nice day and then that stupid polar vortex thing starts it's crap and down, down, down go the temps

Sunny, 58 and pretty darn nice until the wind started coming in. Gusts to 20 mph so far. I better enjoy what's left of it because it's the last one for a few days. Low of 17 on Sunday morning,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,seriously?

Guess it actually hit 64 yesterday. Today it went from a low of 39 to a high of 41 and rain, rain, rain. From the start late Tuesday night until now it's about 2" and guess there's another 2" or so over the next couple days. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go from no coat one day to winter jacket and stocking cap the next. Man I hate rollercoasters.

Here I am, the day before 1-3" of snow forecast-ed and I'm cutting the lawn ??? Shovels, blower all put away .. I'll let the sun do it's work .. just takes a bit longer. I will wait .. lol

Not too bad out today for the 1st of February. North wind of 10-25 mph, 28 degrees, off and on blizzard conditions, windchill of 10 degrees. What's that you say, it's April 1st and not February 1st? Really? Hmmmm, looks like I've been the victim of an April fools joke by mother nature then.
Saturday morning calls for cold and 1-2" of snow, then Saturday evening another 1-3" is possible. This is getting REAL old.

All right .. I guess I have to face it. I'm a southern soul.
Yesterday it was nearly 80 and I spent all day futzing with the fleet. Got the blower resistor replaced in two vehicles (score 2 working a/c's this year), replaced a pigtail for a vehicle speed sensor (I need many, many, maaaannnnnyyyyyy more hours of soldering practice...), cleaned the in-cabin air filter on the chevy, tightened the lugnuts on the fifth but the clunking is still there (wheel bearing next?). Even got the inspection sticker for the dually.
Today it barely got to 65 and I was shivering all day. Fed the goats and stayed inside since tomorrow its back into the 70's.
How do you guys do it?

It's a regular winter wonderland. They said 1-2" possible this morning and were wrong. It's closer to 3" so far and still snowing. Temp is a balmy 22F but at least the wind speed is absolute zero.

A couple hours after taking the pics, the sun came out for a couple hours then,,,,,,clouded up and snowed again. this time the wind got added into the mix. Straight out of the north at 25-50 mph. Note the neighbors flag in the one pic. Guess which way is south? lol
Sun came out again in the afternoon and melted a good part of the snow off pavement, roofs, etc. Never did get out of the 20's even with the sunshine.
Something so wrong about icicles hanging from the eaves in April.
Worst part of it all is, the roads that all the salt got washed off of with all the rain, aren't washed off anymore. Judging from my truck that grew white sides this morning when I was out around 7:30am, they salted

We have had it all today; sun, rain, high, straight line winds, and even heavy snow! That is what they say about Ohio; if you don't like the weather, stick around it will change. It just usually all does not happen in the same day. It was 53 earlier today; it is now 30.
