Someone stole my license plates off the 86 Fifth Ave while parked in the driveway.

Just ripped them right off wrecking the front plate holder and pulled the nylon grommets off the rear.
I have to suck up the damage.

Only ghetto people do that, so went to the local ghetto.
2nd parking lot and there where my plates on a Pontiac Montana.
Took like 10 minutes tops to find my plates

Called 911 and waited 40 minutes for a cop.

I parked down the road so I wouldn't spook the perp.
Then I saw the van leaving.
The pursuit was on!

Spent 5 minutes on 911 chasing the van with my 86 F/A, then he went behind a 3 story walk up and bailed over a fence.

Police are dusting the plates at HQ.
 
We kind of get that in Philadelphia. But they cut the corner of the tag to get the registration sticker. A lot of people ride with their tag in the rear window and risk the ticket. Punks
 
Never saw a Plymouth Fifth Ave?
It's like a Chrysler Fifth Ave, but light on options.
No power seats, no tilt, no power door locks, AM/FM only, no opera lights, cloth seats.

I need to stop watch my plate hunting journey.

I know I was on another forum a 12pm saying I was going to take a ghetto run and at 12:09 I was dialing 911.
And I to still had to get dressed, load batteries into the camera, grab my stuff and leave.
 
Ghetto run. lol ... I wouldn't even know where to begin? ..... yeah a pretty sheltered life, I guess ...... glad it worked out out you. Are they keeping the plates for evidence? or is that just on T.V.?
 
I would think the van might hold some clues as to the “thief”.

They don't "dust" anything here in akron, ohio unless there's a murder. My neighborhood was robbed 18 times in one month on a 2 block area. My nieghbor installed security cameras and had to give the cops a play by play just to help catch the punks, then they let 2 of them go after a high speed chase. Insane. We won't rely on them here....
