Will the tilt colum out of a 5th Avenue work in the F-body?

I think there are slight differences in the mounting. I used straight column out of a F body in my Fifth Avenue and the mounts to the hold the column up that are under the dash needed to be reworked a little. Floor mount was identical and hooked right up to the gear box. Based on this I'm going to say it'll work with minimal fuss.
Wipers and high beams will be a problem. I never figured that out for the time I was running it while I rebuilt the factory column. I did get the turn signals working.
This was a long ass time ago, so details are fuzzy on the electrical.

I'm looking at using one in a drag car to ease entry & exit.

I believe a stock steering wheel is necessary so the tilt column will work. I know of another Fbody that has a tilt column from a 5th Avenue in it but I don’t know what issue he had putting it in, wiring is the only thing I can think of.
