Now that would be interesting; an M body version of a Vette Kart. Because there's a lot that can come off one of these and they're already fairly light compared to modern V8 cars at only 3500 pounds. If there was a rotten M body for sale near me I'd be tempted. But I'm pretty sure I bought one of the only like 5 M bodies in the area and mine ain't rotted.
 
At $650 and if I had space, I would probably jump at it for the prospect of a 30's-40's market where the engine tunnel is longer and might excite somebody. A straight 8 tunnel is huge as long as the width is there. Be a very interesting project.
 
I had a V-10 truck for a couple years and sold it. Was really enjoyable to drive, not really like a truck at all. More torque than you'll ever need. I wish I had driven it more.
 
I can't wait to see the guy that cashes in his 401k to outdo him
