I suggest you look for a non-lockup converter and transmission. I had a '79 LeBaron SuperSix which I had a lockup converter trans. I could not find a good lockup converter trans to put in it. I finally found a late 60's Valiant non-lockup converter trans which gave me no troubles. I had to also get the shift linkage brackets, I had a column shifter.
